The new hardware lineup includes two models, the N2040 and the N2050, designed to convert paper documents into verified digital records across branch networks. Both devices feature onboard Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, making them direct upgrades for earlier desktop models such as the KODAK E1040 and KODAK S2050.

The lineup offers distinct capture capabilities based on operational volume requirements. Specifically, the N2040 model scans up to 40 pages per minute or 80 images per minute, while the N2050 model processes up to 50 pages per minute or 100 images per minute. Furthermore, each unit includes a 100-sheet automatic feeder and a 3.5-inch color touchscreen interface. Users can handle standard office paper, hard cards, or connect modular flatbeds for bound books and identification records across modern computers.

Document capture relies on Perfect Page image science, Dual-Light Illumination, and SurePath paper handling. These integrated technologies allow frontline operators to process folded, textured, or low-contrast paper cleanly on the initial feed. In addition, ultrasonic multi-feed detection identifies double feeds to minimize jams and scan interruptions. Operational managers can use Network EasySetup alongside Gigabit Ethernet to push uniform configurations across remote branch fleets.

Kodak Alaris bundles KODAK Capture Pro LE software with every unit, allowing immediate deployment without extra software purchases. The hardware is now available globally through authorized distribution partners, serving banking, healthcare, government, and legal organizations within the digital economy.
