Echelon and Applied Intuition have formed a business development partnership to bring an advanced physical AI platform to Saudi Arabia. The initiative aims to deploy autonomous systems across critical sectors, including robotaxis, ports, mining, manufacturing, agriculture, construction, and freight trucking. Furthermore, the collaboration focuses on developing local engineering capabilities to operate these autonomous systems directly within production environments.
Under the agreement, Echelon will work alongside Applied Intuition to serve industrial clients across the Kingdom. In addition, Echelon will provide local software development, system customizations, and operational integration. The company plans to embed forward deployed engineers with partners to build practical domestic expertise in managing artificial intelligence solutions.
Expanding the physical AI platform across industries
Applied Intuition develops the software systems and digital infrastructure required to make moving machinery autonomous. Consequently, its core technology platform will serve as the operational foundation for modern logistics and heavy industry projects across Saudi Arabia. The technical rollout targets autonomous vehicles, industrial mining machinery, construction equipment, and highway freight fleets.

The company has started recruiting local software engineers and operational staff to support its expanding regional customer base. Meanwhile, the office will collaborate closely with domestic technical teams to ensure direct knowledge transfer.

Both organizations have confirmed that local hiring and enterprise trials will begin immediately in Riyadh, with additional industrial field operations scheduled throughout the year to support modern economic growth.
