If you’ve just bought a shiny new HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 then it might seem a little different to other Android phones. That’s because it runs EMUI 9.0 –”Emotion User Interface” – over the top of Google’s Android 9.0 Pie operating system, bringing a big share of pros. This feature should help guide you in the right direction with EMUI 9.0 and get the best out of HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019.

Navigate on your screen with just gestures
Ever take the metro to work? Your thumb’s usually good enough for normal browsing, but at times you’ll want to switch things up and use other apps—then it dawns on you: you’re having a hard time reaching the navigation bar with that finger, and your other hand is firmly planted on the safety rails. Not cool. HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 presents quick navigation gestures that get you where you want instantly. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and get to Home screen, or swipe inward from either left or right edge to go back. And if you want to check out your latest apps or tasks, swipe up from the bottom of screen and hold.

Twin App: Have the same app twice on your phone
We hate to keep signing in and out of our social media apps, and it is especially annoying if we have two accounts, HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 has a cool feature called App Twin¹ which lets you sign into more than one account at the same time. It clones your app and creates a separate icon for the second account. Switching between the two accounts is so smooth and you can even run them simultaneously.
¹This feature does not support all apps.

Easy on the Eyes
Enjoying such a stunning viewing experience may entail losing track of time and spending long hours on the phone screen. Do not worry! HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 is certified by TUV Rheinland for low blue light. The screen filters harmful blue light emissions, and intelligently adjusts the color temperature and brightness, to protect your eyes against strain.

Search made easier
How to search settings? Simply swipe down the notifications shade, hit the settings cog, then type into the search bar to locate a relevant setting. Note, however, that search doesn’t work for content, including apps, it’s strictly what’s within the settings menu only.
