The campaign has been developed in line with the principles of Ramadan to encourage people to take individual action to create a better tomorrow for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign is based on stc\u2019s belief that, \u201cWe can provide a better future if we start to focus on sustainability today. By realizing our human, material and technical capabilities we can support the Kingdom\u2019s efforts to create a truly sustainable society.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the campaign stc seeks to ensure sustainability becomes a priority for everyone, in line with government initiatives and the goals of Vision 2030. stc also aims to cooperate with several partners to maximize the campaign\u2019s positive economic, social, and environmental impact on Saudi society.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018The Future and Beyond\u2019 will involve stc sending messages by text and social media encouraging people to adopt sustainable lifestyles. The messages will highlight the importance of becoming involved with local communities through volunteering, giving to the non-profit sector or acting by taking part in beach and park clean-ups, switching to clean energy, reducing car travel and use of plastics, recycling and donating old items.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">stc has been ranked first in sustainability among telecom companies in the Arab Gulf region according to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, one of the most important global indicators for measuring companies\u2019 performance in sustainability. stc also ranks second among Saudi companies from across several sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">stc seeks to enhance its prestigious position as a leading Saudi company in its sector, and as a major enabler of digital services and solutions in the Middle East, to achieve social and economic transformation in line with its commitment to apply the highest standards of professionalism and competitiveness in the telecommunications and information technology sectors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company also works to enable digital solutions by launching partnerships with the government and the private sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RIYADH, April 18, 2021&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp; stc has launched the sustainability campaign \u2018The Future and Beyond\u2019 which reflects its continued commitment to social development.
