The regional launch of the British brand\u2019s latest model was hosted in Jeddah by Bentley in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the all-new Flying Spur went on sale in the region in October 2019, it has generated significant demand among customers, writing a new phase in the history of Bentley four-door Grand Touring in the Middle East and building on the success of the previous generation models. Over 40,000 Flying Spurs have now been manufactured in 15 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Flying Spur V8, now available as an alternative to the iconic W12 model, offers a more driver-centric experience via increased agility and a more characterful engine note, whilst benefiting from increased range between fuel stops and a reduction in CO<sub>2&nbsp;<\/sub>emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2-Bentley-Flying-Spur-V8-.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2-Bentley-Flying-Spur-V8--1024x683.png\" alt=\"------ 2 - Bentley Flying Spur V8\" class=\"wp-image-24393\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2-Bentley-Flying-Spur-V8--1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2-Bentley-Flying-Spur-V8--300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2-Bentley-Flying-Spur-V8--768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2-Bentley-Flying-Spur-V8--1080x720.png 1080w, https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2-Bentley-Flying-Spur-V8-.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the heart of the vehicle is Bentley\u2019s 4.0-litre, twin turbocharged V8 engine, that produces a peak power of 542bhp and uses twin-scroll turbos to reach its maximum torque of 770Nm at just under 2000 rpm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To maximise fuel economy, the V8 can shut down four of its eight cylinders under light-load conditions. The change is imperceptible to the occupants \u2013 with deactivation times of around 20 milliseconds (a tenth of the time it takes to blink).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Flying Spur V8 is 100 kg lighter than the W12 version, making the vehicle feel more agile and responsive with a distinctive personality of its own. The new model includes the latest powertrain and chassis advancements; Adaptive Air Suspension, Torque Vectoring by Brake, Drive Dynamics Control, and Electric Steering, all of which are standard features. Furthermore, customers can add Bentley\u2019s pioneering 48V electric active anti-roll technology (Bentley Dynamic Ride), and Electronic All-Wheel Steering for even greater agility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Flying Spur V8 also incorporates a class-leading portfolio of intelligent and intuitive equipment tailored to&nbsp;the driver and passengers, including a new Touch Screen Remote in the rear. The car masterfully balances delicacy and craftsmanship, with supremely comfortable seats in five hide colours. The Colour Specification option also adds 10 further hide colours and two duo-tone interior configurations.
