The collaboration also includes the implementation of the Control and User Plane Separation (CUPS) solution for more flexible and efficient network traffic performance. The extension of stc\u2019s collaboration with Ericsson highlights the 5G Core solution\u2019s high performance and its 100 percent 3GPP standard-compliance.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5G Core SA supports new and innovative 5G applications for consumers and enterprises. 5G standalone (SA) offers several benefits like enhanced end-user experiences, simplified operations, and service agility, improved network capabilities and, future-proof network architecture. Additionally, 5G SA opens the doors to a greater number of services for enterprises and efficiency gains in simplification and operational efficiency.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement includes Ericsson\u2019s cloud-native dual-mode\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericsson.com\/en\/core-network\/5g-core\">5G Core<\/a>\u00a0including Ericsson\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericsson.com\/en\/portfolio\/digital-services\/cloud-core\/cloud-packet-core\/packet-core-gateway\">Cloud Packet Core<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericsson.com\/en\/portfolio\/digital-services\/cloud-core\/cloud-unified-data-management-and-policy?nav=fgb_101_0909\">Cloud Unified Data Management<\/a>\u00a0(Data-storage Manager, Subscription Manager and Resource Controller products), and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericsson.com\/en\/portfolio\/digital-services\/cloud-communication\/cloud-signaling\/signaling-controller\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Signaling Controller<\/a>, enabling an open ecosystem that allows the integration of third-party applications. Furthermore, the deployment of Ericsson\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericsson.com\/en\/portfolio\/digital-services\/cloud-infrastructure\/cloud-native-infrastructure\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cloud Native Infrastructure<\/a>\u00a0and Ericsson\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericsson.com\/en\/portfolio\/digital-services\/cloud-infrastructure\/nfvi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure<\/a>\u00a0will support the massive scale, performance, and reliability required for the delivery of stc\u2019s innovative 5G services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ericsson\u2019s state-of-the-art 5G Core serves as a fully containerized solution. Although Ericsson\u2019s 5G Core can run on other cloud-native infrastructures, stc has chosen the Ericsson system-verified solution providing a low total cost of ownership while being open for third-party applications and hardware. The architecture of the 5G Core gives stc the flexibility to be responsive to market demands while controlling costs at a time of growing network complexity. The agreement also includes continuous integration and continuous deployment (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericsson.com\/en\/ci-cd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CI\/CD<\/a>) using Ericsson\u2019s software pipeline for increased efficiency, reduced risk &amp; service agility will be at the forefront of delivering Time Market benefits to stc customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eng.
