JAC<\/a>\u00a0(Shanghai Stock Exchange 600418)\u00a0JAC<\/a>\u00a0remains the industry\u2019s sales champion, having sold 300,000\u00a0S3s<\/a>\u00a0during the last 20 months. The\u00a0S3<\/a>\u00a0has set several records since its launch, from achieving a breakthrough of 10,000 units in its first month, to overtaking sales of other compact SUVs in the global market within three months. With current average sales of 15,000 units a month, the\u00a0S3<\/a>\u00a0has cemented its position as the SUV industry\u2019s sales champion.<\/p>\n

Young drivers have been particularly attracted to the\u00a0S3<\/a>, with its core characteristics \u201dEasy To Buy, Easy To Drive, Easy To Own\u201d having a widespread appeal. Tailoring their designs to young customers\u2019 demands for a fashionable appearance, enhanced driving experience and intelligent specifications,\u00a0JAC<\/a>\u00a0released the\u00a0S3<\/a>II in September 2015. This new model maintains the original\u00a0S3\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0stylish interior, while making 19 improvements. The\u00a0S3<\/a>\u00a0II has been equipped with a rear view system, GPS\/Dual mode positioning and navigation system and GSI driving shift reminder, designed to improve the SUV\u2019s security functions. S3<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Features<\/strong><\/p>\n

S3<\/a>\u00a0drivers are able to enjoy a full suite of features that make driving a pleasure. It boasts a high-performance 4GB 1.5L VVT engine, which is powerful, while also being exceptionally economical. Likewise, the\u00a0S3\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0gearbox increases power output, while reducing fuel consumption, saving on fuel costs and carbon emissions simultaneously. Fitted with front Mac-Pherson suspension the\u00a0S3<\/a>\u00a0has a highly responsive and smooth driving experience, while its eccentric type front absorber reduces horizontal force. The\u00a0S3<\/a>\u00a0also has a number of safety features that help to protect drivers and avert accidents. Its ESP regulates torque and distributes braking force independently, helping to maximize driver control when slowing down. The\u00a0S3<\/a>\u00a0is fitted with disc brakes, with enhanced ventilation and anti-heat features, giving the car greater breaking ability. It has six airbags and electronic pre-tightening seatbelts, while uniquely among its competitors the\u00a0S3\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0body and hinges are formed from galvanized and high-intensity steel, to better protect riders in case of an accident.<\/p>\n
