Canon Middle East, world leader in imaging solutions, today announces the global launch of the Océ Arizona 2200 Series of UV flatbed printers – an enhanced solution for Print Service providers, fine-art print producers and photo labs.

Designed to address the demand for increased capacity and versatility without compromising on print quality, the Océ Arizona 2240, 2260 and 2280 enable print service providers (PSPs) to capitalise on new market opportunities and explore a wider range of applications.

Building on the success of the market-leading Arizona 600 series, the Océ Arizona 2200 series allows PSPs to meet shorter customer deadlines and improve production capacity by delivering sellable prints at speeds of up to 63.4 m2/hr.

The true flatbed architecture offers superb edge-to-edge and double sided printing on almost any rigid media, including unconventionally shaped, heavy, smooth or pre-cut media.

Hendrik Verbrugghe, Marketing Director, Canon Middle East and Canon Central and North Africa: “Right now, the opportunity for mid-volume PSPs to grow and diversify is enormous. But in order to do this successfully, they must offer speed and efficiency alongside print quality, as the demands of consumers are constantly evolving. The Océ Arizona 2200 series provides a flexible and scalable solution with decreased delivery times and high-quality printing and finishing on a diverse range of materials. We believe this will empower PSPs to maximise their offering and work to deliver a range of superb products, quickly and cost-effectively. By keeping quality, usability and versatility at the heart of this development process, we are demonstrating our commitment to helping our customers grow new revenue streams.”
