With these milestones, Intel furthers its commitment to enable the industry and its customers and partners to harness the technology superpowers \u2013 ubiquitous computing, cloud-to-edge infrastructure, pervasive connectivity and artificial intelligence \u2013 at the heart of the digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the Intel news conference, Gregory Bryant, executive vice president and general manager of the Client Computing Group, was joined by Lisa Pearce, vice president of the Visual Compute Group, and Prof. Amnon Shashua, Mobileye CEO, to share Intel\u2019s progress across multiple strategic businesses.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Intel execution engine is back. Built on Mobileye\u2019s industry-leading EyeQ\u00ae technology, EyeQ\u00ae Ultra does the work of 10 EyeQ5 SoCs in a single package and was designed to deliver the optimum power performance of a fully self-driving vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the news conference, Shashua was joined by the CEOs from two of the world\u2019s largest automakers to announce expansions of their longstanding relationships with Mobileye. A recap of Volkswagen Group CEO Herbert Diess\u2019 recent car ride with Shashua in Munich was used to announce VW\u2019s application of Mobileye\u2019s advanced mapping technology in its driver-assistance features for the VW, \u0160koda and Seat brands.
