In March 2022, The United States Patent and Trademark Office registered the KASPERSKY CYBER IMMUNITY trademark. Having this\u00a0trademark further reinforces Kaspersky\u2019s\u00a0unique approach within the IoT and connected devices market.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cyber Immunity embodies the secure-by-design approach\u00a0which helps tackle cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the very early stages of software development. The principles of security-by-design are outlined in regulators\u2019 documents. For example, CSA Singapore covers it in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.csa.gov.sg\/-\/media\/Csa\/Documents\/Legislation_Supplementary_References\/Security_By_Design_Framework.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Security-by-Design Framework<\/a>, and there is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsi.org\/technologies\/consumer-iot-security\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ETSI EN 303 645 V2.1.1 standard<\/a>\u00a0for consumer IoT devices. Software developers such as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/compliance\/security-by-design\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AWS<\/a>\u00a0are already adopting this approach for their services.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the trademark registration in the U.S, Kaspersky has also previously obtained it in the UK and Russia. The registration gives Kaspersky the exclusive right to use Kaspersky Cyber Immunity to identify its products. It also confirms that the trademark has distinctive features checked against specific criteria by national government agencies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kaspersky\u2019s Cyber Immunity concept implies that the overwhelming majority of cyberattack types are ine\ufb00ective and cannot a\ufb00ect a system\u2019s critical functions in the usage scenarios specified at the design stage. Cyber Immunity can be achieved by using KasperskyOS and following certain methodology while creating a solution, such as defining security goals and assumptions and ensuring they are accomplished in all usage scenarios, the isolation of security domains and the control of interaction among them, and the reliability of the solution\u2019s whole trusted computing base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cRegistering the Kaspersky Cyber Immunity trademark on an international scale is the result of our consistent efforts to create a new market for systems with built-in cyberthreat resistance.
