The manufacturers\u2019 championship success follows the drivers\u2019 and co-drivers\u2019 titles secured by Kalle Rovanper\u00e4 and Jonne Halttunen during the previous rally in New Zealand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The victory marks the second year in a row that the team has achieved a clean sweep of the three available WRC titles, and the sixth occasion that Toyota has topped the WRC\u2019s manufacturers\u2019 classification. The rally win in Spain was the team\u2019s seventh of the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his first asphalt rally since January\u2019s Rallye Monte-Carlo, Ogier was among the pacesetters from the start, winning three stages in the No. 1 Toyota GR YARIS Rally1 Hybrid Electric Vehicle during the first day despite the challenging roads and mixed weather conditions. I\u2019m really happy that the team achieved all three titles in the drivers, co-drivers, and manufacturers championships,\u00a0just as we did last year. And above all, I\u2019m so glad that the GR Yaris has become a triple champion. Toyota\u2019s participation in these events was overseen by separate&nbsp;<strong>\u200e<\/strong>entities within the company until April 2015, when Toyota established GR,&nbsp;<strong>\u200e<\/strong>to consolidate all of its motorsports activities under one in-house brand. Representing&nbsp;<strong>\u200e<\/strong>Toyota\u2019s belief that \u2018the roads build the people, and the people build the cars,\u2019 GR highlights the role of motorsports as a fundamental pillar of Toyota\u2019s commitment to&nbsp;<strong>\u200e<\/strong>making \u2018ever-better\u2019 cars. Harnessing years of experience gained under the extreme&nbsp;<strong>\u200e<\/strong>conditions of various motorsports events, GR aims to forge new&nbsp;<strong>\u200e<\/strong>technologies and solutions that bring the freedom, adventure, and joy of driving to everyone.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The season concludes with the 13<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;and final round of the championship, Rally Japan, which is scheduled to be held over four days between 10 &#8211; 13 November.
