Aref to lead&nbsp;a ten-strong team of professionals based in Saudi Arabia to support client needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The appointment supports the expansion of the EY Law offering across the growing Saudi market and wider MENA region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Riyadh, KSA \u2013 09 January 2023<\/strong>: EY has expanded its MENA Law offering by launching a dedicated legal practice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), headed by the Saudi legal expert Reema A. Aref. The practice will initially consist of ten professionals based in Riyadh and will support clients across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The appointment &#8211; which follows a number of senior hires into EY\u2019s MENA legal practice in 2022 \u2013 reflects the firm\u2019s commitment to building a comprehensive one-stop-shop of multidisciplinary professional services in Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reema\u2019s role as KSA EY Law Leader builds upon four years of service in corporate and tax law for EY in Riyadh and more than a decade as a legal investigator in Saudi Aramco as well as a tax and customs specialist in the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority. The newly formed team will offer a broad range of corporate and commercial law advisory services, supporting corporate transactional work, M&amp;A, regulatory advice, company establishment, foreign direct investment, family offices and government-owned entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fahad Al-Toaimi, EY KSA Managing Partner<\/strong>, says:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBy working alongside other EY practices, the new EY Law practice will support and complement business lines through the provision of a fully integrated, multidisciplinary offering to regional and international EY clients in both English and Arabic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chris P.
