The solution offers an innovative approach to operate energy infrastructure for mobile operators and tower companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the terms of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericsson.com\/en\/press-releases\/5\/2020\/tawal-selects-ericsson-energy-infrastructure-operations-to-reduce-carbon-footprint-in-saudi-arabia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ongoing agreement<\/a>\u00a0with TAWAL, Ericsson assumes responsibility for managed services of TAWAL\u2019s tower infrastructure and provides energy management solutions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ensuring the highest levels of energy efficiency and availability by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation and energy management, the solution has contributed to a carbon dioxide emissions reduction of up to 40 percent, a reduction of up to 70 percent in generator run hours, and more than 40 percent reduction in energy consumption for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saeed Alshehri, Chief Operations Officer at TAWAL says: \u201cTAWAL leads multiple initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint, one of which was adopting Ericsson\u2019s Infrastructure Operations solution. The solution was implemented in multiple sites across the Kingdom and yielded impressive results.
