{"id":46404,"date":"2023-12-30T11:37:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-30T08:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/?p=46404"},"modified":"2026-03-28T04:52:00","modified_gmt":"2026-03-28T01:52:00","slug":"rotana-concludes-2023-with-74-operational-hotels-and-a-bolstered-pipeline-of-50-properties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/rotana-concludes-2023-with-74-operational-hotels-and-a-bolstered-pipeline-of-50-properties\/","title":{"rendered":"Rotana concludes 2023 with 74 operational hotels and a bolstered pipeline of 50 properties."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In 2023, Rotana announced international market entries into the United Kingdom, Georgia, and Senegal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The group showcases its strong growth with 19,602 keys in operation and 10,383 under development across 29 cities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Four hotels under &#8220;Edge by Rotana&#8221; and one under &#8220;Rayhaan by Rotana&#8221; in Saudi Arabia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Riyadh, Saudi Arabia &#8211; December 2023: Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with over 100 properties across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and T\u00fcrkiye (MENAT), concludes the year and its third decade of successful operations, with nine property signings in 2023 alongside a healthy pipeline of 50 scheduled openings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Global Expansion and Pipeline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The hospitality group announced several market entries this year in line with Rotana\u2019s target to strengthen its global footprint. In the United Kingdom (UK), Rotana will launch two new properties under Centro, its affordable hotel and serviced apartment brand. Set to open in 2024, Centro New Malden and Centro Kingston will be the first two properties that form part of a broader agreement to develop up to 1,500 keys over multiple sites across the greater London region, all under the Centro brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rotana also debuted in Georgia with the upcoming Pontus Rotana Resort &amp; Spa, Gonio. Expected to open in 2026, the five-star property with world-class amenities will add 600 keys to Rotana\u2019s diverse global portfolio. In Senegal, Rotana announced its foray with a new Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana branded property. The 150-key hotel in Dakar will represent the height of elegant city living and is set to be completed by 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regional Growth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Its newest brand, Edge by Rotana, has seen tremendous development this year and is on track to reach a target of operating 30 Edge by Rotana properties across the region by 2027. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Rotana signed four \u201cEdge by Rotana\u201d properties, one \u201cRayhaan by Rotana\u201d property in Riyadh and an \u201cEdge by Rotana\u201d property in Al Baha. Rotana has successfully opened three Edge by Rotana-managed hotels in the UAE \u2013 Arabian Park and Park Apartments in November 2022 and Damac Hills 2 in February 2023, alongside the signing of four planned \u201cEdge by Rotana\u201d properties in Riyadh earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its regional solid pipeline for 2024 also includes Dar Rayhaan by Rotana in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and Onyx Arjaan by Rotana in Manama, Bahrain. Rotana is also expected to debut in the Algerian market with the launch of Azure Rotana Resort &amp; Spa in the port city of Oran.
