More than 83% report improved customer engagement, while 78% cite operational efficiency gains. In addition, 75% see higher employee productivity, and 67% report positive revenue impacts directly linked to wireless investments.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These figures point to what the report describes as a &#8220;multiplier effect,&#8221; where a single network investment generates returns across multiple business areas simultaneously. All 100% of surveyed Saudi organizations say wireless operations are becoming more complex. Furthermore, 63% report spending most of their time on reactive troubleshooting rather than proactive management, and 86% say visibility gaps impair their ability to resolve Wi-Fi issues effectively.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These conditions make wireless modernization harder to achieve, even as demand for it grows. The report links this strain directly to the expansion of AI-driven workloads and connected device environments across the Kingdom.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cisco Wireless Report Highlights Security Losses<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"\/category\/cybersecurity\/\">Cybersecurity<\/a> risks tied to wireless networks are also escalating. The report finds that 84% of Saudi organizations experienced at least one wireless security incident in the past 12 months. Of those, 60% reported financial losses, and 51% of that group said losses exceeded US$1 million in the past year. Additionally, 35% reported operational disruption caused by compromised IoT or operational technology devices.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AI-generated and automated cyberattacks are identified as a leading source of wireless security risk, increasing both financial exposure and operational disruption for organizations across the Kingdom.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Talent Shortages Add Further Pressure<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The talent challenge compounds these difficulties. A total of 91% of Saudi organizations report challenges in hiring wireless specialists, as professionals increasingly move toward roles in <a href=\"\/category\/ai\/\">AI<\/a> and cybersecurity. This shortage is contributing to higher operating costs for 40% of organizations, lower staff morale for another 40%, and reduced innovation capacity for 28%.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report concludes that organizations in Saudi Arabia which address all three challenges together, by simplifying operations, strengthening security, and investing in skills, will be better placed to capture stronger returns from their wireless infrastructure going forward.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Study<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Research for the State of Wireless Report was conducted in November 2025 by Sandpiper Research &amp; Insights.
