Specifically, manufacturers require high-precision instruments to build hardware components without causing heat damage. Experts at LITILIT state that advanced lasers are becoming essential for processing materials like glass substrates and semiconductor packages. These components are vital for high-performance computing systems.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optical Connections and Data Transfer<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speeding up data transfer remains a primary challenge for modern data centers. TrendForce forecast that the market for co-packaged and near-packaged optics will grow from 100 million USD in 2025 to over 39 billion USD by 2030. Consequently, manufacturers are using femtosecond lasers to produce glass interposers that connect chiplets. This technology allows for faster communication between processors.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These lasers emit pulses lasting quadrillionths of a second, which prevents the surrounding glass from heating up and cracking.
