Meanwhile, test vehicles have arrived in the Middle East for local road testing ahead of the brand&#8217;s debut in Abu Dhabi this September.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The manufacturing base in Changshu serves as the production hub for both domestic and international markets. Specifically, the facility incorporates digital manufacturing systems and flexible production processes to support new energy vehicle production. Consequently, these systems strengthen the brand&#8217;s ability to deliver vehicles that meet global standards.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Group, stated that international markets are highly important to the future growth of the brand. Furthermore, he emphasized the commitment to accelerating global expansion during the roll-off ceremony. Middle Eastern media representatives also toured the factory to observe the manufacturing capabilities first-hand.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mass Production of FREELANDER 8 Begins<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The production facility represents a total investment of over 3.1 billion USD, with an additional 440 million USD allocated for new energy <a href=\"\/category\/smart-devices\/\">smart devices<\/a> and manufacturing upgrades. Notably, the upgraded facility features more than 1,100 robots and a fully automated body shop. In addition, end-to-end digital quality traceability systems are used to maintain high levels of manufacturing precision.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every vehicle undergoes detailed validation processes before leaving the production line. Specifically, these processes include battery sealing checks, ADAS calibration, and heavy-rain simulation tests.
