Manufactured at the alfanar facility in Riyadh, the new systems run on Intel Xeon 6 processors to support the Kingdom&#8217;s goal of expanding local technology production and advancing <a href=\"\/category\/economy\/\">economic diversification<\/a>.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The locally assembled hardware addresses the rising demand for digital sovereignty across the Middle East. Furthermore, processing and storing sensitive data within national borders helps regional enterprises comply with strict regulatory frameworks while keeping operational visibility high.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expansion of Saudi Made Servers Portfolio<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two new models offer distinct physical and computational configurations for enterprise data centers. Specifically, the HPE ProLiant Compute DL360 Gen12 is a compact 1U, two-socket server that supports Intel Xeon 6 processors with up to 144 cores, up to 8 TB of DDR5 memory at 6400 MT\/s, and configurations with up to 10 SFF or 20 EDSFF E3.S NVMe drives. In addition, it supports PCIe Gen5 expansion and up to three single-wide GPUs.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/saudishopper.com.sa\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/saudi-made-servers-gen12-hpe-intel-inline-1.webp\" alt=\"HPE ProLiant Gen12 Saudi Made servers in a data center facility\"\/><\/figure><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, the HPE ProLiant Compute DL380 Gen12 provides a scalable 2U chassis. It accommodates up to 36 EDSFF E3.S storage drives, along with accelerator options that support up to three double-wide or eight single-wide GPUs for intensive <a href=\"\/category\/ai\/\">artificial intelligence<\/a> and virtualization workloads.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Performance Gains and Power Efficiency<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to specifications released by HPE, the Gen12 systems deliver up to 41% better performance per watt compared to legacy enterprise systems.
