Long-lasting battery life in the smartphones is one of the most important features when differentiating between one phone and another, especially with the increase of the daily smartphone’s usage for business and entertainment and access to social networks in addition to turning some users to professional photographers. Users need larger long-lasting battery life and smarter technologies to keep them connected to the world as long as they need and with the most efficient use of their smartphones without worrying about looking for a mobile charger.

Over the years, the capacity and durability of the battery has been a major concern for users as the battery is the main provider that energizes the phone to work. Some companies only increase battery capacity without focusing on safety or making it smarter, Huawei on its device P20 Pro is reducing battery consumption using artificial intelligence and different usage patterns, not just increasing capacity. Users are now looking to reduce battery consumption.

Huawei has been supporting its HUAWEI P20 Pro smartphone with a 4000mAh battery, which is enough for two days in normal usage. In addition to, SuperCharge which is a high-speed charging technology that can charge the phone up to 58 % within 30 minutes. Thanks to the artificial intelligence support of the Kirin 970 processor used in the phone, Huawei has provided several battery modes for users to select the right modes that suit all their needs and circumstances.

Due to its concern about the consumers and their safety, Huawei has cooperated with TÜV Rheinland to certify Huawei’s SuperCharge technology. Certification marked the first time an end-to-end fast-changing technology has successfully completed the rigorous tests set forth by the world-renowned safety experts. Testing encompasses every component, requiring adapters, IC circuits and charging cable materials to pass safety, low temperature and thermal shock tests. Submitting itself to the stringent oversight of TÜV Rheinland demonstrates Huawei’s continued mission to deliver the most innovative features on the market, and highlights Huawei’s commitment to delivering not only faster charging but more importantly safer charging.

Most importantly, the battery sets a new standard in charging technology including Super Safe 5-gate protection, which offers real-time voltage, current and temperature monitoring to eliminate safety hazards and safeguard battery life.

HUAWEI P20 Pro ensures safety during charging process, so that the user will not notice any heat in the battery when using the phone intensively. Huawei has created full compatibility between the battery and the EMUI operating system to avoid any issues with other phones such as losing charging process if the phone is switched off or the phone is charging only if the user is holding the phone in his hand, and that the challenge that some companies have tried to catch up Huawei with.
