Picture this: Friday night – you got home, plugged in your phone, went to make dinner and now you’ve got 30 minutes to change for a night out. You look down and realize your phone wasn’t plugged in this whole time. That leaves you with about 22 percent battery and at least 6 hours of heavy snapchat, texting and Instagramming ahead of you.

We call that a nightmare scenario.

But not for you. Why? Because you’re rocking the HUAWEI Mate20 Pro. Not only is this device sleek, speedy and downright powerful, but also has a superpower – 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge.

Since mobile phones came to be, battery life has been an ongoing issue. Huge, bulky batteries made phones inefficient to carry. As smartphones came into vogue this problem got significantly worse, with battery life becoming the Achilles heel of phones. Too often we see people sitting in the corner at a party or out in the world after they tirelessly sought out an outlet so they could plug in their phone. And battery life drainage is coming at a more alarming rate as wireless connectivity becomes more widespread and people are able to spend more time on their phones browsing and watching video.

That’s why Huawei invested heavily in R&D to not only ensure its devices, like the HUAWEI Mate20 Pro, have beefy batteries while maintaining a slim design, but also have the capacity to charge up quicker than any phone out there. With this new phone series, Huawei implemented a new super-fast 40W fast-charging standard, while retaining some of the largest batteries out there.

Beginning with the Mate 8 Series, Huawei has been making huge improvements to fast charging technologies, from implementing TÜV certificated SuperCharge on the Honor Magic Power to developing the industry’s fastest 15W wireless charging. Users are already seeing the benefits, but Huawei had something more up its sleeve.

With 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge, Huawei’s quick charging batteries can reach the limit of fast charging in terms of material and allow charging current input at a faster rate. The quick fast charging battery can be charged with no compromise on the energy density, battery life and safety.

Thanks to this quick charger, the HUAWEI Mate20 Pro is able to charge so much faster than any of its competitors, right out of the box. Huawei ensured this kind of power won’t make your phone dangerous to use – 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge has a multi-step safety system built in and is again certified by Germany’s TÜV authority.

So, you have a half an hour on the clock? We’ll then, you’ve got nothing to worry about. Just plug your HUAWEI Mate20 Pro and you can get from 0 to 70 percent—considering your handset is leveraging Huawei’s AI battery optimization, you’ll have more than enough juice to last through any night out.
