Huawei Cloud AI announced a series of enterprise products at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 in Shanghai, led by the global rollout of its updated AI Cluster Service. Dr. Peter Zhou, Director of the Board at Huawei and CEO of Huawei Cloud, outlined the technical updates designed to support autonomous agent workloads.
Upgraded Infrastructure and Computing Performance
The updated AI Cluster Service features a five-level recovery mechanism with full observability across the system chain. It supports over 40 days of stable cloud training while resolving operational faults within 10 minutes. Through coordinated optimizations across scheduling, caching, and algorithms, the system delivers 20% higher token throughput compared to the previous generation.
The cluster service will launch commercially in China on September 30, followed by an international rollout on November 30. Alongside this compute infrastructure, the company introduced its Context Memory Storage solution. This storage architecture provides petabyte-scale memory space and high-speed terabyte-scale memory reads to handle extended tasks across distributed systems in telecommunications networks.
Enterprise Agent Platform Deployment
The company expanded its enterprise agent platform through both commercial and open-source channels. Built on AgentArts and the open-source openJiuwen framework, the platform offers more than 5,000 general Model Context Protocol assets and over 1,000 industry-specific assets. The open-source project has gathered over 50,000 stars and recorded 3.29 million downloads, according to company data.
More than 100 enterprise customers currently use the platform, including the Shenzhen Longgang District Government, China Southern Power Grid, Guangzhou Laboratory, and Kingsoft Office. Kingsoft Office integrated the agent platform into its WPS 365 Document Center to build vertical workplace solutions for finance and public sector administration via modern productivity software.
Expansion of Huawei Cloud AI Foundry
Huawei Cloud AI expanded its Industry AI Foundry by adding two specialized zones to its existing five industry divisions. The platform has compiled more than 1,000 industry assets across 1,000 active customer deployments.
The new Smart Government Zone brings together 24 founding partners to support municipal administration, public services, and urban governance. In parallel, the new AI Hardware Zone includes 15 partners developing integrations for over 20 hardware categories, including smart glasses and audio recording devices that connect with connected hardware platforms.
Global Commercial Availability and Partner Ecosystem
Commercial access to the AgentArts platform outside China is scheduled for December 30. Huawei Cloud is collaborating with system integration partners including Chinasoft International, iSoftStone Group, and Beiming Software to distribute dedicated commercial releases.
The platform also incorporates Model as a Service capabilities, allowing developers to connect directly to external models such as MiniMax multimodal models without local setup requirements. These integrated tools provide scalable resources for enterprises investing in machine intelligence across global markets.
