Fluke mobile imaging tools expanded in Saudi Arabia today with the introduction of two handheld diagnostic cameras for industrial maintenance teams. The company released the TC03A Thermal Camera and the ii01 Acoustic Camera for Android devices, bringing specialized field diagnostics to regional facilities. These tools help technicians identify thermal anomalies and acoustic leaks across manufacturing and energy sites.

The expansion comes as the Kingdom records substantial industrial growth. Saudi Arabia counted more than 12,900 factories across the country in 2025. In June 2026 alone, 25 industrial and infrastructure projects worth over SAR 29.5 billion were awarded across the Kingdom, including over SAR 11.4 billion in the Eastern Province. These growing facilities demand specialized tools to maintain operating standards in the economy.

Expanding Fluke Mobile Imaging for Field Technicians

Diagnostic equipment must remain portable for frontline personnel working across massive infrastructure networks. Connecting directly to mobile phones, the new hardware simplifies routine checks on distributed assets.

“Saudi Arabia’s ambitious journey toward becoming a world-class, diversified industrial economy is creating a growing need for maintenance teams to monitor more assets while maintaining high standards of reliability, safety and operational efficiency. Professional diagnostics need to be accessible wherever technicians are working. By making these capabilities more accessible in the field, we are helping technicians identify potential issues earlier, prioritise follow-up and move from reactive troubleshooting towards more proactive data-driven maintenance.”

Thermal Analysis via the TC03A Camera

The Fluke TC03A thermal camera features a native thermal resolution of 384 × 288 pixels. Technicians can use SuperResolution processing to achieve up to 768 × 576 pixels for clear visual analysis. Manual focus enables detailed evaluation of close electrical panels or distant mechanical assemblies.

The device pairs with the Fluke iSee mobile application to provide temperature difference insights and real-time warnings. These software features allow technicians to prioritize maintenance tasks directly on connected smart devices without returning to a central office.

Acoustic Detection with the ii01 System

Many industrial problems do not generate heat signatures. To address invisible compressed air and gas leaks, the Fluke ii01 acoustic camera applies SoundMap technology to locate sound frequencies between 2 kHz and 48 kHz. The unit operates at distances up to 50 meters depending on environmental conditions.

A dedicated one-key leak mode highlights suspected leak locations on the display screen. Real-time decibel readings provide additional diagnostic metrics to help teams quantify the severity of each leak. Such mobile diagnostic gear integrates seamlessly into modern mobile devices used across field operations.

Rugged Design and Connected Workflow

Both hardware additions feature an IP54-rated rugged exterior to withstand harsh industrial settings. Integration with the mobile app supports fast data capture, report generation, and instant sharing. The lightweight build enables frontline technicians to evaluate complex equipment rapidly while supporting preventive maintenance protocols across the Kingdom.
