PH PRL – Nissan Connected Car Services 2.0
Connected Car Services 2.0 is now available in Saudi Arabia through the MyNissan application to provide drivers with remote control over specific vehicle functions. The updated suite connects owners directly to their vehicles before and after their journeys, accessible through compatible smartphones.
The system is currently operational on the Nissan Patrol, the 2027 Nissan X-Trail, and the 2027 Nissan Pathfinder. Through the digital interface, motorists can access telemetry, route preparation tools, and security functions designed for everyday driving conditions across the Kingdom.
Remote Vehicle Control Capabilities
The platform enables drivers to start or stop the engine remotely and activate cabin temperature controls prior to entry where supported. Users can also lock or unlock doors remotely, sound the vehicle horn, flash headlights, and locate parked vehicles through a dedicated finder tool. These practical controls integrate seamlessly with existing automotive technologies to assist drivers in large parking facilities.
Journey Planning and Safety Alerts
Through the dedicated mobile application, users monitor vehicle health indicators and receive immediate malfunction notifications. The software also issues customized geographic boundary alerts, curfew notices, and speed warnings directly to connected devices. Furthermore, motorists can organize driving itineraries on their smartphones and transfer navigation routes to in-dash displays before departure.
“Customer comfort begins before they get behind the wheel. Being able to prepare the cabin before setting off or check the vehicle’s status from a phone makes a practical difference to everyday life.”
Ahmed Awad, Director of Product Marketing for Nissan Middle East, KSA and CIS
Integration of Connected Car Services
The architecture behind Connected Car Services supports multi-user profiles with individualized preference storage and restricted access rights. Authorized operators can utilize voice-command options tailored to local Saudi specifications alongside regular over-the-air functional updates. Moreover, the service includes remote data-wipe capabilities to safeguard user information stored within apps and onboard systems.
“For our customers in Saudi Arabia, CCS 2.0 puts that vision into practice, bringing greater convenience and control to the ownership experience.”
Adib Takieddine, Managing Director of Nissan Saudi Arabia
Future Expansion Across Regional Lineups
Nissan plans to deploy Connected Car Services across additional vehicle models in Saudi Arabia over upcoming production cycles. As in-car software advances, the automaker aims to broaden mobile access and remote connectivity for a wider segment of regional drivers, linking smart vehicles to modern mobile devices.
