Protectt.ai Labs has acquired a majority stake in the AI security platform AIShield, which originally developed as an internal incubation project within Bosch Global Software Technologies.

The transaction establishes AIShield as an independent corporate entity known as AI Shield Private Limited. Furthermore, the investment combines mobile application protection with specialized tools designed to counter model vulnerabilities across regulated industries.

Structure of the Investment Deal

Protectt.ai completed the majority acquisition through a combination of primary share issuances and secondary purchases from existing shareholders. Consequently, the funding enables the venture to expand research initiatives while establishing sovereign defense frameworks for enterprise clients in the economy.

“AI is moving from pilots into production across banking and regulated enterprises, and the security stack has to evolve with it. AIShield brings a proven platform, a strong engineering team and a deep patent portfolio.”

Development of the AI security platform

The engineering team at AIShield built tools that secure systems from initial creation to active deployment. Specifically, this architecture pairs runtime defense mechanisms with red teaming assessments to stop adversarial attacks such as prompt injection across modern software applications.

AIShield maintains an intellectual property portfolio that includes 11 granted patent families and more than 40 filings. In addition, the organization currently delivers automated testing and security guardrails to commercial customers located throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Integration with Enterprise Infrastructure

Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Protectt.ai monitors mobile environments for prominent financial institutions, non-banking financial companies, and government entities. Meanwhile, this new integration connects those client networks with specialized automated safeguards in the field of cybersecurity.

“For investors, this is an encouraging sign of ecosystem maturity. It demonstrates that Indian startups can create sufficient scale, credibility and market leadership to become preferred partners for global technology assets.”

Future Expansion and Sovereign Protection

Protectt.ai currently protects over 900 million mobile devices and processes 10 billion sessions monthly. Through this agreement, the business expands its technical reach into Asian territories, addressing enterprise requirements for sovereign governance within automated artificial intelligence operations.
