Automotive brand OMODA & JAECOO outlined its international commercial milestones and technical roadmap during the recent OMODA X Night event. The brand also established its first directly operated showroom worldwide in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This local facility combines vehicle exhibitions, consumer test drives, purchasing procedures, and direct client support under manufacturer management.

Global Sales Milestones and Market Share

According to figures presented by Chief Executive Officer Shawn Xu, cumulative sales reached 1.4 million units over three and a half years of international operations. The carmaker projects annual deliveries to exceed 800,000 units in 2026, representing a 110 percent year-on-year increase. These commercial results reflect steady customer demand across several regional territories.

Europe now accounts for 48 percent of total sales volume after thirty months in that market. The brand placed second in overall UK automotive sales during August and September, while the JAECOO 7 model led UK car sales in September. Furthermore, monthly volume exceeded 3,000 units in France, 4,000 units in Spain and Italy, and 6,500 units in Brazil. In Thailand, the JAECOO 5 EV secured the leading position among battery electric models for several consecutive months.

Retail Operations and OMODA & JAECOO Expansion

Physical distribution networks have expanded to 79 countries with more than 1,700 active dealership points. Management indicated that commercial coverage will extend to 99 territories by 2027, with planned launches in Japan, South Korea, and Canada. This physical infrastructure supports broader penetration within the global economy.

Powertrain Innovations and Cabin Systems

New energy powertrains, spanning hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery electric systems, represent 81 percent of total corporate deliveries. The manufacturer introduced a 5-kWh battery architecture scheduled to debut on the OMODA 7 crossover. The platform includes a Super Quiet Mode and vehicle-to-load exterior power delivery rated at 2.2 kW, supplying auxiliary electricity for external equipment. Meanwhile, OMODA 4 will introduce thermal insulation coating that lowers cabin heat by up to 10 degrees Celsius under direct sunlight.

Intelligent Mobility and Future Lineup

Development in automated driving includes Super Intelligent Valet Parking, which guides vehicles into parking spaces autonomously. This function will arrive on JAECOO 5 and JAECOO 7 models destined for Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian markets. Additionally, the intelligent cabin system uses AI software to adapt interior responses to passenger preferences. Connected cockpit displays also interact directly with smart devices to enhance passenger control. Over the next three years, the corporate lineup within the automotive sector will expand to 13 distinct models.
