MyID Authenticate Launch
Intercede has introduced MyID Authenticate, a dedicated FIDO passkey authentication solution designed for enterprise and public sector infrastructure. The platform enables phishing-resistant sign-in to Windows desktops, cloud services, and on-premise applications from a unified management interface. Following its announcement on 12 October 2026, the software makes its international debut at the GovWare 2026 event in Singapore.
Enterprise Deployment and Architecture
Conventional authentication methods such as static passwords and one-time codes remain vulnerable to credential interception. In contrast, FIDO passkeys bind cryptographic credentials directly to verified domains, ensuring that private keys never leave user endpoints. Organizations deploying cybersecurity defenses can run the software on-premise, in cloud environments, or across hybrid networks without altering their core directories.
“Everyone agrees passkeys are one of the strongest defences against phishing. The hard part has been getting them onto every desktop and into every modern application. That is exactly what MyID Authenticate does.”
Dan McLoughlin, Chief Product Officer, Intercede
Technical Protocol Support Across Workstations
The system functions as both an authentication server and a passkey issuer. It integrates with FIDO2 security keys alongside device-bound and synced credentials, supported by self-service onboarding. Workstation login operates natively on Windows 10 and 11 systems during both connected and offline sessions on corporate computers.
Federation capabilities extend these protections across web platforms. Protocols including SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect supply sign-in flows for enterprise apps, cloud tools, and virtual private networks. The solution connects directly with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, while legacy resources connect via RADIUS servers.
Features of MyID Authenticate
The architecture includes crypto-agile mechanisms capable of supporting post-quantum cryptographic standards as security guidelines shift. For customers operating MyID MFA, an automated migration tool provides an upgrade pathway to the new release. The platform also couples with MyID CMS, which secured its first integrated client deployment in Germany.
Demonstrations at GovWare 2026
Technical demonstrations are scheduled across the GovWare trade event at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre from 13 to 15 October. Intercede representatives will present on stand M38 and appear on DT Asia stand M31 alongside Swissbit. The exhibitions demonstrate passkey execution during Windows lock screen access, VPN validation, and offline sign-in operations.
