Al Masaood Power Division is presenting dynamic power technologies at Airport Show 2026 in Dubai to support operational continuity across critical aviation facilities. The division, operating under Al Masaood Group, is participating in the exhibition from October 12 to October 14 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The centerpiece of the company’s display is the mtu Kinetic PowerPack, known as KPP. This dynamic uninterruptible power supply system provides power security for mission-critical installations that require stable electrical current without disruption.

Kinetic Energy for Operational Protection

Modern aviation facilities rely on complex electrical systems that require non-stop operation around the clock. Resilient electrical infrastructure safeguards sensitive equipment against unexpected disturbances and grid interruptions. Consequently, the KPP system addresses this operational challenge by merging kinetic energy storage with diesel generation into a single system.

Rather than using battery arrays for short-term energy reserves, the mtu Kinetic PowerPack stores kinetic energy to bridge outages. When a main supply interruption occurs, kinetic energy transfers directly to the synchronous machine. This mechanism maintains continuous supply to critical loads while the internal combustion diesel engine starts and assumes the full electrical load.

Power Solutions at Airport Show 2026

Rasso Bartenschlager, General Manager of Al Masaood Power, explained the rationale behind the display during the trade gathering.

“The continued development of the aviation sector is placing greater emphasis on the resilience of the infrastructure behind it. For airports and other mission-critical facilities, reliable power is fundamental to maintaining continuity and protecting critical operations.”

Rasso Bartenschlager, General Manager of Al Masaood Power

Bartenschlager stated that the event offers a direct channel to demonstrate how these mechanical systems assist facility managers. He noted that the solution addresses operational requirements regarding physical footprint, electrical efficiency, and long-term field stability.

Industrial and Regional Applications

Beyond airport terminals, organizations deploy this kinetic technology across data centers, medical facilities, and industrial manufacturing sites globally. These sectors face similar risks from power disruptions and require compact, dependable backups to prevent data loss or equipment failure.

Al Masaood Power functions as an authorized regional distributor for mtu solutions, which operate under Rolls-Royce Solutions. The company supplies industrial power setups across the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Iraq, supported by technical teams and post-installation maintenance services.

Industry Engagement and Exhibition Details

Division representatives are meeting aviation executives and engineers throughout Airport Show 2026 to discuss regional grid stability. The division also represents industrial brands including Volvo Penta and Leroy Somer across select Middle Eastern territories, delivering localized engineering support for industrial transport and commercial operations.

Visitors and engineering delegates can review the equipment specifications directly with technical specialists at Stand 1400 in Hall 1 during the three-day trade event.
