Call of Duty Mobile has launched Season 2, titled Lunar Charge, featuring a free month-long in-game event called Starlit Quest that runs until March 22, 2026. The event celebrates Ramadan and marks the fifth consecutive year the Holy Month has been featured in the game.

Notably, this is the first time the Ramadan activation has been deployed as a global event across all game modes. The company described it as the largest Ramadan activation in Call of Duty: Mobile history. The event is available on both iOS and Android platforms worldwide.

What Is the Starlit Quest Event

Starlit Quest is a free event running throughout Season 2. Players complete daily, weekly, and weekend challenges to earn Crescent Keys. These keys unlock exclusive Ramadan-themed cosmetics available only during the event period.

In addition, two limited-time Lucky Draws will be available throughout the season. Players who log in during morning and night periods each day will also receive bonus Crescent Keys as an added incentive.

Exclusive In-Game Items and Rewards

The Starlit Quest event introduces several themed in-game items. Players can earn or purchase these items through gameplay, challenges, and special activities. Time Limit Packs are also available for purchase using COD Points.

The new cosmetic items include the following:

  • Operator skin: Zero – Tranquil Nights
  • Weapon blueprint: AK47 – Luminous
  • Charm: The Falcon’s Flight
  • Avatar: Azure Splendor

Call of Duty Mobile Creator Campaign

To support the launch, Call of Duty Mobile partnered with regional gaming and lifestyle content creators across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. The campaign spans four weeks and features a mix of gaming and lifestyle personalities.

Gaming creators involved in the campaign include Arab Games Network, Nasrat & Walid, P4GAM3R, 7mashaa, Nova San, and PMN. Lifestyle and culinary creators include Mohamad Adnan, WessamQ, Chef Misho Baeshen, and Chef Aziztime.

Season 2 Context and Regional Significance

The Ramadan event reflects a broader trend of mobile game publishers targeting the Middle East and North Africa region during the Holy Month. Ramadan typically sees increased screen time and gaming activity across the region.

Furthermore, the decision to expand the event globally signals growing confidence in the international appeal of Ramadan-themed content. Call of Duty: Mobile has not specified total player numbers for the current season, however the game consistently ranks among the top mobile titles in the MENA region.

“The Starlit Quest event is the largest Ramadan activation in Call of Duty: Mobile history, marking the fifth consecutive year the Holy Month has been featured in-game.”
