Moot Court
Legaline Platform launched Meta Legal Space during the Dubai AI Festival at the Dubai World Trade Centre on October 26, 2026. The new legal training platform introduces a virtual courtroom simulator built specifically for law students and trainee advocates across the region.
Simulated Courtroom Dynamics in Meta Legal Space
Within the virtual setup, legal trainees take part in proceedings before an artificial intelligence judge, supported by an automated clerk, witnesses, and expert figures. Opposing counsel can be controlled either by software or by another student. Notably, interactions during the proceedings are unscripted, requiring participants to respond directly to spontaneous developments during questioning.
Every witness operates with distinct personality metrics, including credibility and emotional composure, set prior to the hearing. Furthermore, each witness withholds a specific detail from their testimony. The trainee must uncover this hidden element through targeted cross-examination while staying within the boundaries of the case record.
“Many lawyers conduct their first cross-examination with a real client’s case on the line, and it is the client who pays for any mistake. Meta Legal Space moves that first attempt to a place where mistakes are allowed.”

Flexible Legal Frameworks and Jurisdictions
Participants select between litigation, arbitration, or mediation before starting each trial session. In addition, trainees choose among three regional legal systems: onshore United Arab Emirates law, Dubai International Financial Centre rules, or Abu Dhabi Global Market regulations. Practising lawyers authored each case file, ensuring that the scenarios match specific difficulty tiers and time limits.
The initial dispute catalog includes commercial breaches, civil construction arguments, and employment claims filed under the DIFC Small Claims Tribunal. Consequently, trainees gain direct familiarity with different forms of evidentiary review and expert testimony across multiple legal environments.
Performance Evaluation and Institutional Access
Following each session, participants receive an automated performance assessment measuring procedural adherence, objection handling, and argumentation quality. Licensed attorneys from the network can also step into the judicial seat to evaluate proceedings live. These tools serve both supervised university seminars and individual study.
“I have spent more than 25 years in criminal defence, and the hardest part of a trial is not knowing the law. It is the moment a witness says something you didn’t expect. In Meta Legal Space, witnesses don’t answer on cue.”

Integration with Existing Legal Technology
Law faculties and training organizations can access the service through free account registration on the primary system. This mock trial environment operates alongside existing productivity software modules on the platform, including the Baby Legal Bot educational assistant, a research tool covering 35 legal sectors, and an automated document generator that produces initial drafts in roughly 15 seconds.
