OMODA vehicle sales climbed 123% year-on-year in September 2026, driven by higher international demand for electrified transport options. The automotive group delivered 53,957 new energy vehicles (NEVs) during the month, which represents a 184% rise compared with September 2025. This increase coincides with the group’s global footprint expansion and precedes the debut of its new crossover model.
Rapid Growth in OMODA Vehicle Sales
The sharp rise reflects consumer interest in hybrid technology, extended driving ranges, and higher fuel economy. As buyers across international territories look for cleaner mobility options, the company has concentrated its manufacturing resources on electrified models. Consequently, these electrified products formed the core driver of the brand’s September volume surge.
Financial metrics show steady commercial progress within the broader economy, tracking the rapid progression of OMODA vehicle sales globally. Electrified powertrains continue to take a central role in the company’s regional portfolio as governments enforce stricter emission regulations.
European Market Registrations
European territories accounted for a substantial portion of the volume increase in September. In the United Kingdom, the brand registered 22,296 new vehicles, marking a 106% year-on-year rise and securing a 6.37% monthly market share. The JAECOO J7 became the UK’s best-selling new-car model in September with 10,813 registrations, bringing its nine-month total to 39,473 units.
Meanwhile, registrations in Italy reached 4,678 units, and Spain recorded 4,010 registrations. Electrified variants made up 98% of total deliveries in the Spanish market. In addition, the carmaker plans to establish an engineering research facility at UTAC Millbrook in the UK to develop chassis components and advanced driver-assistance systems.
Debut of the OMODA X Crossover
The company plans to unveil the OMODA X crossover during its International User Summit in Wuhu, China, running from October 18 to 24. Scheduled for its public debut on October 20, the vehicle incorporates the brand’s geometric styling approach called CROSSVOLUTION, merging sports-car lines with sport utility vehicle features.
The Wuhu summit will also host technical demonstrations, including hybrid powertrain trials and intelligent driving displays. Furthermore, the group will showcase its AiMOGA robotics initiative, examining applications for AI and machine interaction beyond conventional vehicle cabins.
Expansion in the UAE Market
In the Middle East, the manufacturer reached a cumulative milestone by delivering more than 6,000 cars in the United Arab Emirates since entering the country in February 2025. Showrooms in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah currently distribute these vehicles, backed by dedicated maintenance networks supporting OMODA vehicle sales across regional dealerships.
Local offerings include the JAECOO J7 and the OMODA O5 HEV, which launched in September 2026 with a Super Hybrid System that pairs petrol engines with electric drives. The distributor intends to introduce Super Intelligent Valet Parking technology in the UAE before the end of 2026 to modernize automotive transport choices.
