Riyadh, Saudi Arabia –18 November 2025: Etihad Salam Telecom Company (Salam) and DataVolt Information Technology Company (DataVolt), a global leader in the development of large-scale datacenters and integrated infrastructure solutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure landscape in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives.

Under the MoU, the two Saudi entities will explore opportunities to align their data center and network capabilities, leveraging Salam’s nationwide fiber, connectivity, and international gateway capabilities alongside DataVolt’s next-generation data center platform.

This collaboration aims to support the development of future infrastructure solutions forhyperscalers, cloud providers, and enterprise customers and enable them to benefit from scalable, secure, and high-performance digital infrastructure across the Kingdom.

Key Areas of Collaboration

Colocation and Data Center Services:

Salam will leverage DataVolt’s colocation capacity—covering space, power, cooling, and smart-hands support—across designated KSA facilities, such as the upcoming Riyadh East (RUH-E) site, a state of the art, AI-ready data center which will be ready for service in Q4 2026.

Network and Connectivity Services:

DataVolt can choose to utilize Salam’s extensive national fiber network, IP transit, internet exchange (IX) peering, and international connectivity to enhance the interconnection options available to customers within the company’s carrier-neutral data centers.

Joint Go-to-Market Strategy:

The companies will explore joint marketing initiatives and complementary “Data Center + Network” offerings targeting enterprise, cloud, and public-sector clients.
