HUAWEI GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity 2026
Huawei officially launched the HUAWEI GoPaint 2026 campaign during its Chase the Wild event in Munich, Germany. The worldwide initiative invites art enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds to create and share digital artwork. In addition, the project connects technology with artistic expression to make creative tools accessible to all skill levels.
Global Launch of HUAWEI GoPaint 2026
The HUAWEI GoPaint 2026 initiative brings technology and artistic expression together for creators worldwide. Participants of any age, nationality, or technical background can take part in the activity. Furthermore, this year features a new Easy Creation category designed to lower entry barriers and encourage broad participation across the global creative community.
The companion drawing software offers realistic brushes, high-definition canvases, and low-latency rendering. These technical capabilities support diverse artistic styles within modern apps, including traditional Chinese ink painting, portraiture, sci-fi illustration, and experimental art. Consequently, users can translate spontaneous visual concepts into complete digital works.
Introduction of the Easy Creation Category
A central component of the latest edition is the Easy Creation category. This category allows creators to use everyday photographs as base material for creative projects. Specifically, participants can add doodles, adjust lighting and shadows, and apply layered elements to their personal images.
Travel snapshots, meals, and candid moments can serve as starting points for artistic experimentation. Because the category avoids complex techniques, users can produce finished pieces quickly on compatible mobile devices. This approach makes digital art accessible to casual creators without formal training.
Key Features of the Creative Application
Huawei developed the GoPaint application to combine professional-grade performance with an intuitive interface. The software integrates directly with hardware components across the company’s ecosystem of smart devices. As a result, creators benefit from responsive stylus interaction and precise canvas management.
The platform continues to support both beginner workflows and demanding professional assignments. Advanced brush dynamics allow illustrators to simulate traditional media with high fidelity. Meanwhile, simplified toolbars ensure casual users can navigate available features without steep learning curves.
Submission Guidelines and Campaign History
Art enthusiasts can participate in the HUAWEI GoPaint 2026 program through multiple digital platforms. Entries remain open until January 31, 2027. Users may submit artwork directly from the HUAWEI MatePad Gallery through the My HUAWEI app or upload submissions via the official HUAWEI Community website.
Over the past two years, the campaign has accumulated more than 10,000 submissions globally. Contributors include professional illustrators, art students, children, and hobbyists. Huawei Consumer Business Group reported research and development spending of over USD 23 billion in 2023, representing 23.4 percent of annual revenue, with total ten-year research investments surpassing USD 154 billion.
