Abu Dhabi government tool TAMM AutoGov won the top government initiative award across EMEA at the Gartner Eye on Innovation Awards 2026. The Department of Government Enablement developed the system alongside more than 45 local entities to automate public tasks across the emirate.

Operational Reach and Technical Scale

The central TAMM platform provides access to over 1,200 public and private services for 4.7 million registered users. Operating within the digital system, autonomous processes resolve 96 percent of customer service requests without human staff intervention. Government plans project the full completion of an AI-native operating model by 2027.

High adoption levels support the digital shift across the emirate. With a 98 percent digital adoption rate, the digital platform eliminates more than 37 million in-person visits to physical customer centers each year, returning roughly 54 million hours to residents.

Capabilities of TAMM AutoGov

Introduced in October 2025 as a digital public servant, TAMM AutoGov applies agentic tools to execute transactions proactively. Instead of waiting for resident inquiries, the software uses an event-driven model to address deadlines directly.

Under this automated setup, the system renews commercial trade licenses prior to expiration dates. In addition, it renews disability documentation before active coverage lapses, eliminating manual filing requirements for holders.

“A government service that works well is one that reaches people before they have to ask for it, before the deadline, before the disruption. That is what TAMM AutoGov does, and it does it because every government entity in Abu Dhabi is building something together.”

Financial Results and Customer Metrics

During its initial six months of activity, TAMM AutoGov processed payments on behalf of users, including traffic penalties. These actions prevented more than AED 17 million in late fines for individuals across the capital.

Performance records show a 94.8 percent customer satisfaction rate for the automated service. Furthermore, quarterly transaction volumes expanded by 40 percent following the deployment of automated payments in the local economy.

Gartner Evaluation and Global Benchmarks

The Gartner Eye on Innovation Awards review submissions from regional divisions across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC. An evaluation team of Gartner analysts scores candidate projects, after which international public sector officials pick regional winners based on measurable results.

The 2026 competition saw record entry numbers from worldwide public administrations. This regional prize follows global recognition in 2025, when TAMM secured the top e-Government project award at the United Nations-supported WSIS Prizes.
