The partnership between ADPIC and PATRIZIA establishes a collaborative framework to advance infrastructure delivery across Abu Dhabi. Signed during the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit International Roadshow at EXPO REAL 2026 in Munich, the agreement focuses on private capital participation, knowledge exchange, and capital project execution. Officials confirmed the agreement on October 8, 2026.

Scope of the ADPIC and PATRIZIA Agreement

The Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre coordinates planning, governance, and delivery across roughly 500 capital projects. These initiatives carry a combined value exceeding AED 200 billion, equivalent to more than USD 56 billion. The program includes housing, transport, culture, education, and municipal utilities that support regional urban development.

Under the bilateral framework, both entities plan to review public-private partnership models and international financing practices. The collaboration also targets co-investment opportunities emerging from the emirate’s capital program. In addition, the participants will conduct joint technical studies and market benchmarking to improve project implementation.

Official Statements on Bilateral Execution

Leadership representatives signed the document during international roadshow activities designed to expand relations with European markets. Eng. Maysarah Mahmoud Salim Eid, Director General of ADPIC, signed alongside Hassan Awada, Senior Executive Officer for MENA at PATRIZIA.

“Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure programme requires partners that bring proven international capability, market insight, and a long-term commitment. Through this partnership with PATRIZIA, we will explore how that experience can support private-sector participation, strengthen project delivery, and create long-term value.”

Consequently, the initiative aims to draw international technical capabilities into the emirate. Representatives emphasized that attracting direct institutional capital remains a priority for regional urban planning.

“Abu Dhabi has established itself as an important centre for long-term investment and infrastructure development. Our teams have worked with clients and partners in the Emirate for the past 15 years, and our decision to establish a permanent presence in Abu Dhabi reflects the importance we attach to that relationship.”

Long-Term Institutional Presence

PATRIZIA has managed operations with Middle Eastern institutional investors for 15 years. The asset manager recently established a permanent office in Abu Dhabi Global Market to coordinate its regional engagements. The alliance between ADPIC and PATRIZIA connects local procurement teams with the German manager’s international real asset platform.

Globally, PATRIZIA oversees around EUR 56 billion in assets under management across real estate and infrastructure sectors. The firm employs approximately 800 staff across 26 offices worldwide. This operational footprint supports project evaluation and international capital mobilization for the regional portfolio.

Strategic Outlook for Project Delivery

Looking ahead, the collaboration will focus on benchmarking studies and procurement structuring across diverse municipal sectors. The joint teams plan to review capital allocation strategies for social infrastructure, transport networks, and public utilities. Furthermore, the cooperation between ADPIC and PATRIZIA provides a channel to evaluate institutional capital commitments as procurement rounds advance.
