Ring Battery Video Doorbell Pro, 06
New Ring video doorbells are now available in Saudi Arabia, introducing 4K video resolution to battery-powered models in the local market for the first time. The updated product lineup expands high-resolution recording options for residential security, offering both battery-operated and wired setups starting at SAR 279.
Hardware specifications for Ring video doorbells
Leading the updated lineup is the Battery Video Doorbell Pro (2nd Gen), priced at SAR 1049. The unit incorporates Retinal 4K video alongside an Enhanced Zoom capability reaching up to 10x magnification. A restructured internal layout provides faster battery recharging speeds while sustaining high-resolution capture without requiring fixed wiring.
Meanwhile, the company introduced three models featuring Retinal 2K video output. The Battery Video Doorbell Plus (2nd Gen) costs SAR 749 and uses a Quick Release Battery Pack for rapid swapping. At SAR 449, the Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) provides 2K recording paired with 6x digital zoom. For residences with preexisting electrical infrastructure, the Wired Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) delivers 2K video clarity at an entry price of SAR 279.
Power accessories and outdoor camera updates
To support ongoing operation outdoors, Ring released a dedicated Solar Charger accessory. The solar mount directly integrates with the mounting plate of the Battery Video Doorbell Pro, Plus, and standard models, permitting straightforward installation on exterior walls.
Additionally, the manufacturer expanded its standalone camera catalog with the Spotlight Cam (2nd Gen), retailing at SAR 749 for either battery or plug-in formats. The camera records in 2K video and integrates a 550-lumen spotlight to illuminate outdoor areas at night. Its dual-chamber compartment accommodates two batteries and supports the Quick Release Ultra Battery Pack.
Ring Pro subscription and software capabilities
Every newly purchased device includes a trial of the Ring Pro subscription service. The software suite employs artificial intelligence algorithms to provide natural-language video search, allowing owners to locate recorded clips using specific descriptive phrases such as vehicles or pets.
Furthermore, the digital platform delivers concise text summaries through Video Descriptions, enabling users to evaluate activity without viewing raw footage. Through mobile apps, customers can configure Familiar Faces alerts, consolidated Single Event notifications, Extended Live View streaming, and cloud video history covering up to 180 days.
