LG Electronics announced the global rollout of the 25-inch LG WashTower, introducing a unified vertical laundry system to international markets. The appliance combines washing and drying functions into a single vertical structure. It joins the existing 24-inch and 27-inch models to broaden user options for varying residential spaces.
Capacity and Dual Drum Mechanics
The system features an independently operated dual-drum design that allows users to wash and dry separate loads at the same time. Each drum handles loads of up to 20 kilograms, maximizing productivity in a compact space. Users can therefore process large laundry amounts in less time than traditional separated units require.
Furthermore, the appliance fits smaller footprints without sacrificing internal drum volume. This compact setup allows flexible installation options across different household layouts in modern apartments and villas.
Design Features of the 25-inch LG WashTower
The unit incorporates a flat front profile to fit cleanly into modern cabinetry and interior layouts. It includes a hidden hinge door alongside a push detergent box to maintain smooth outer surfaces. Operation centers around a 6.8-inch touch LCD display mounted directly in the middle of the unit.
This central control interface enables users to manage both washer and dryer settings from one physical point. Consequently, homeowners do not need to reach up to high panels to set drying parameters.
Automated Cycles and Sensor Functions
LG integrated several automated features driven by its proprietary AI algorithms to manage clothing care. The AI Wash 2.0 system detects fabric weight, texture, and soil levels to calibrate water usage and agitation cycles. In addition, the AI Dry feature monitors humidity changes and load volume to adjust running periods for balanced drying.
For loads under five kilograms made of similar fabrics, the system optimizes heat application to protect delicate garments. When using the Prepare to Dry setting, the machine completes washing and drying for a three-kilogram load in 120 minutes. The connected mobile application on compatible smart devices provides cycle alerts and tracks power use.

Regional Rollout and Market Availability
LG confirmed that the 25-inch LG WashTower will launch first across markets in Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Additional global regions will receive inventory starting in 2027. This staged release supports the commercial goals of the manufacturer across diverse international consumer segments.
