The HONOR X9e Pro appeared on the facade of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa on October 25, 2026, marking the brand’s return to the landmark tower five years after its August 2021 presentation.

The display presented the device as the first Pro edition within the X Series lineup. In addition, the presentation focused on battery endurance alongside durability, display specifications, imaging features, and integrated artificial intelligence tools.

Hardware Architecture of the HONOR X9e Pro

At the center of the hardware build sits an 11,000mAh battery built on fourth-generation silicon-carbon technology. According to technical specifications, the power cell delivers up to three days of runtime under defined mixed-usage tests. Furthermore, the phone is rated to operate in ambient temperatures reaching 50 degrees Celsius.

Charging options include 80W wired SuperCharge and 27W wired reverse power sharing. Meanwhile, the battery structure is rated for a six-year functional lifespan to maintain long-term charge retention across repeated cycles.

Durability Ratings and Water Resistance

Structural protection relies on a 360-degree shock-absorbing frame. Testing data indicates that the assembly provides drop protection from heights of up to three meters on flat ground.

Consequently, the exterior shell holds IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications. These standards protect internal circuits against high-pressure fluid jets, continuous submersion down to 10 meters in controlled settings, and hot-water sprays reaching 85 degrees Celsius. These physical protections reflect engineering advances across current mobile devices.

Display Brightness and Optics Setup

Visual output is driven by a 6.8-inch 1.5K panel operating at a 120Hz refresh rate. Specifically, the panel reaches a peak brightness rating of 10,000 nits to maintain legibility during outdoor midday conditions. It also incorporates 10 Oasis eye-protection technologies designed to diminish visual fatigue in variable ambient light.

Photography rests on a 108MP primary camera paired with CIPA 6.0 optical stabilization. The stabilizer minimizes movement artifacts during portrait and low-light captures. Furthermore, the software provides an underwater shooting mode with automatic color calibration algorithms.

Onboard Intelligence Tools

On the software front, the phone features AI FreeGrip and physical hand recognition to assist one-handed usage. It also embeds Google Gemini processing alongside Creative Editor 2.0 to handle content editing, text processing, and information requests.

These software features connect directly with current developments in apps and digital tools, providing automated assistance for daily tasks. The device represents HONOR’s latest entry in the high-durability hardware category.
