OMODA and JAECOO has surpassed 1.4 million cumulative global vehicle sales in three and a half years of international operations. Company executives outlined upcoming technical programs covering hybrid powertrains, automated parking systems, and artificial intelligence at the International User Summit in China. During the event, the brand also staged the global premiere of the OMODA X crossover concept.
“We always put our customers first. Together with them, we are turning one shared vision into one million colorful lives. Soon we will be the world’s first to deliver the new 5-kWh HEV technology. It is the world’s only HEV with V2L function and supports multiple smart lifestyle modes.”
Shawn Xu, CEO of OMODA & JAECOO International
Expansion Plans for OMODA and JAECOO
The automotive group expects worldwide deliveries to exceed 800,000 units during 2026, representing an annual sales increase of approximately 110 percent. Europe currently generates 48 percent of total international deliveries after regional distribution commenced. In addition, OMODA and JAECOO operates across 79 national territories through an established retail network of more than 1,700 showrooms.
Corporate targets call for expansion by 2027 to reach 99 countries, including Canada, Japan, and South Korea. According to official corporate data, electrified powertrains including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric models constitute 81 percent of current aggregate vehicle sales in the global automotive sector.
Hybrid Powertrain and Energy Features
The technical roadmap includes a five-kilowatt-hour hybrid system scheduled to debut on the OMODA 7 sport utility vehicle. The setup includes an enlarged battery unit supporting a Super Quiet Mode designed to minimize cabin noise during startup, acceleration, and sustained highway driving. Furthermore, the powertrain integrates vehicle-to-load bidirectional discharging that supplies up to 2.2 kilowatts of electrical output for standard consumer electronics.
System software also provides dedicated configurations for resting inside the vehicle, automated perimeter surveillance, and timed operational tasks. Consequently, these additions expand hybrid vehicle utility beyond conventional fuel efficiency parameters into mobile energy support.
Assisted Valet Parking Capabilities
Development teams also presented the Super Intelligent Valet Parking system, designated as SIVP, which operates under the concept of automated vehicle summons and stall docking. In supported environments, the software manages space searches and vehicle retrieval maneuvers. However, the system operates as an assisted-driving feature requiring constant driver oversight, stable network connections, and structured parking garages.
The company scheduled SIVP-equipped JAECOO 5 and JAECOO 7 models for initial deliveries across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Furthermore, OMODA and JAECOO plans to broaden its vehicle lineup to 13 distinct models over the next three years, adopting the sharper mecha-style styling introduced on the OMODA X.
Consumer Robotics and Regional Figures
Beyond passenger cars, partner firm AiMOGA Robotics opened pre-orders for Mobo, a domestic companion robot running the MoAgent AI operating system. The unit uses spatial mapping and memory storage to assist household members, relying on vehicle manufacturing facilities for commercial production.
In the United Arab Emirates, total brand sales surpassed 6,000 units, with the JAECOO J7 serving as the primary commercial model. Local representatives noted that automated parking aids and vehicle power export offer practical utility during extreme summer temperatures in regional shopping centers.
