META has officially introduced Meta One subscriptions to deliver expanded artificial intelligence capabilities and premium management tools across its social portfolio. The new bundles combine access to standalone services with creative features powered by the Muse AI model.
Overview of Meta One Subscriptions
The newly launched Meta One subscriptions provide two primary tiers for individual users, according to TechCrunch. The Core plan costs $7.99 per month, while the Premium plan is priced at $19.99 per month. Both tiers package the existing Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus, and WhatsApp Plus options into a single purchase.
Subscribers gain higher generation limits for Muse Image and Muse Video creation tools. In addition, users receive expanded access to in-app creative features like Instagram Restyle and extra voice effects across apps.
Business and Creator Tiers
For professional accounts, META introduced four distinct commercial tiers. The Essential plan starts at $14.99 per month, Advanced begins at $49.99 per month, Expert costs $149 per month, and Max reaches $499 per month. Benefit availability and exact pricing can vary by region and account type.
The Essential plan provides profile verification badges, WhatsApp Business channel verification, impersonation protection, and 24/7 automated assistance via Meta Business Agent. Higher tiers like Advanced add extended story scheduling up to 30 days, organic link support on reels, exportable audience analytics, and team member access.
Revenue Growth and Market Projections
The expansion follows initial standalone plans introduced earlier this year on major social media platforms. Data from market intelligence firm Appfigures indicates that daily revenue for Instagram reached $1.2 million during the week of September 9, while Facebook generated $528,000 daily. These figures represent week-over-week revenue gains of 475% and 143%, respectively.
Financial analysts project significant long-term returns from the subscription strategy for the wider digital economy. BNP Paribas estimates that paid tiers could generate $13.5 billion in additional annual revenue by 2028, while Truist projects the total could reach $20 billion by 2030.
Platform Expansion and Editing Tools
META plans to integrate additional utilities into the Meta One ecosystem in coming months. The company announced upcoming support for its Edits application through an Edits Plus tier, offering extra cloud storage and higher AI assistant query limits. The core social experiences and basic AI features on all platforms remain free for general users.
